9 Best Parts of Thor

I'll be honest, the first Thor isn't my favorite of the MCU movies. But there are some A+ moments. So here we go.

1. Thor

This is an obvious one, but I love how Chris Hemsworth plays Thor. And he has a pretty good character arc throughout this movie. He's also just hilarious, so there's that.

2. Loki

Seeing Loki so young is a TRIP. And it's so fascinating seeing his character arc and progression through the MCU, too. And just...Tom Hiddleston. Need I say more?

3. Mjolnir

Thor's hammer is a character all itself in my opinion. And the part it plays in so many movies going forward is fantastic.

4. Jane Foster

I love Jane. Does she make the best choices? No. But is she determined? Absolutely.

5. Darcy

Darcy is the best comic relief. (And also a great excuse for Jane and Dr. Selvig to explain crazy scientific things to her - and the audience.) I love that she shows up in WandaVision.

6. Erik Selvig

Dr. Selvig has dad energy, and it's great.

7. "I did exactly what you told me not to."

This is totally something I would do. And I giggle every time I watch Jane call Dr. Selvig and say "I did exactly what you told me not to. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." after her plan goes to crap.

8. "We drank. We fought. He made his ancestors proud."

Thor and Dr. Selvig? Perfect pair in my opinion.

9. "She searches for you."

This is such a pure, sweet moment. Thor is so obviously smitten with Jane. Asking Heimdall if he can see her is so sweet. And Heimdall's response - and the flash we see of Jane, Darcy, and Dr. Selvig - is so pure: "She searches for you."
